supplementary lore reading (2): the echiotthian history between ABTP 25 - 77

A) The War of the Lament, "Brell-Kyrosvenna"

At ABTP 25-26, the major invasion to the surface was launched. With a powerful explosion, Chaotia was shattered, shores flooded and land was twisted. Temple was now lying in ruins, letting the vast and corrupted armies of Dol’sharoc to march against anyone opposing. With the invasion, Dytherian forces (including Dol'sharen) also joined the armies of Dol’sharoc and marched to the Mainland Echiott.

This battle is known to be the biggest battle in recorded history of mortal races, an eventual unleash for Dol’sharoc’s ever-built hatred against the Firelord. Furthermore, it is known to the people of Io’wathen that Dol’sharoc ever carried such a dispute to the earthly races. Such indicent is unnatural even for the Synthe themselves, because Lyca'naian Chronicles clearly state that Cedes had forbidden the Synthe from directly intervening with earthly matters on an occasional basis. Carrying such a dispute to the earthly races and affecting them directly with such as scale is a sin, even for a God.

The belligerents of the war were the Army of Dol'sharoc consisting of Dythos and Dol'sharen tribes of Dytheria led by Lua Shrormae, onthox of the Underlands led by Nether-Commander Kòu Nil'allakh and Umbrys Sultanate, under the command of Sultan Gorno Felari II on one side; and the Solian Kingdom led by Pythe Adymund Teleane, Queendom of Wundh led by Gallanae-mylen Myllande, N'yaian fylla led by Krischnokh Illinarth and Eoria Illinarth as a successor on the other side. Also Kingdom-alligned enaer (dwarves), siblion and kherae were involved too.

With the grand explosion of the Chaotian Temple, Fortoschaotia, armies unleashing from the Gates of Underlands invaded Iogard Yjes, the Solian fort located in Southern Dytheria and L’isain. Meanwhile, Je’d Haase Daennas, officer in charge of Dytherian Royal Headquarters in Waesandra had to retreat south as the Dytherian forces in the capital city unleashed towards south, the Solian forces first retreated to L'isain and defended the city, but no avail. It concluded with a slaughter and his death.

As L’isain fell to the hands of Dol’sharoc and Zethor’s forces, Iogard Yjes miraculously managed to hold to the Port District of the city for a long time with the leadership of a local, Dytherian (however Solian-alligned) commander named Myroc Cathro-Fellius. The city was the only connection between Dwese and Dytheria Island, so the battle was more valiant. With the loss of L’isain, surviving forces retreated to Iogard Yjes, aiding the last frontier in the city. However, not long after Myroc was torn apart by the onthox in the battlefield, the city fell. Many Solian soldiers (and volunteering Iogard Yjesian locals who opposed the Dytherian mandate) died, only a few ships managed to sail across the Channel back to Dwese with grim news. Myroc Cathro-Fellius, the man who did not turn his back to the Kingdom, was granted a rank of “Kyn”, a rank given to Solian heroes after death, as the news reached Dwese.

The situation in Dwese was chaotic: The invasion was reaching towards the Mainland, and it did not know boundaries or obstacles. People panicked, attempted to run away, and many did so in a short period of time as the news reached. The local forces in Dwese, known as the Lyrant Knighthood, assembled the forces in no time and began to wait for the assault that was now sure to come. Knight-lord Tyranius the Graysteel, leader of the Knighthood, and Loije’d Quarlyn Narae Aelnor, a good-reputed commander in the Royal Army, organized the Knights at the time, with the aid of the Keep-Guardian of Verd Fortos Tyxygor Natheragmai, who has been exiled to Dwese because of the murder of the former Keep-Guardian*. As they were present during the preparations and the volunteer recruitment, he and Quarlyn decided to leave to seek the lost and runaway Prince Pythe Teleane, with a signal from Ghaow Bannerlord, Ottho Droca, stating that the Prince is now safe and residing in Ghaow City to the southeast.

With the ships supplied by Dytherian Naval Forces, Dol’sharoc’s army started to land on the Mainland, starting from the northernmost cape called Quindales. The forces assaulted towns of Quindales and Beijon; burnt down all the villages and other residences until the last one died. Calipthice Bay was surrounded, and the march to the Fortosoweth, home and academy of the mages, warlocks and other magic wielders started.

It was, expectedly, not a flawless victory for the forces of Dol’sharoc. Solian mainland was caught off guard, and thus reinforcement never arrived to the academy. Nonetheless, it was a legendary defense made by the Sylmore brothers.

Also, it was a legendary end.

Nozgoth Sylmore the Voidbringer, the High-Warlock of Shadow Arts School and Neirus Khendor Sylmore the Firewarden, High-Mage of the Arcane Studies School quickly organized the arcanists, battle-mages and warlocks to defend the Academy at all costs. Dol’sharoc’s armies knew no rules, but the magic unleashed from the Academy did not only repel the invaders, but scattered them as well. With every single victory that has been achieved in the battleground, more news of Fortosoweth’s soon-to-be established triumph was spreading across the Ow’landen Region. Dwese was not yet under attack, but the news of Fortosoweth arrived shortly, giving time to Dwese and other cities to get ready.

Invaders seemed to have no end. Nozgoth ordered the forces to chant a frontline protection ward to stop the advance, and so it was done; but the winds started to blow otherwise on the battlefield. Battle-mages were trained to be durable, but not as durable as the plate mail-armored forces of invaders. First, the battle-mages were slaughtered in melee battle. Then the siege of the Academy began.

The armies of Fortosoweth lost their constitution in no time just because of the continuous reinforcements that the invaders seem to get out of nowhere. All spell casters were tired with continuous magic and lack of opportunity to meditate and focus. The Academy Guardians, who were heavily armored and well-trained Royal soldiers assigned to protect the Academy were outnumbered and vanquished, too. The enemy was never-ending, and the numbers at the Academy was limited.

Not long after, the valiant and brave defense of the Academy fell to the shadow of the armies of Dol’sharoc. Nozgoth and Neirus were killed, along with many others. Many of the mages and warlocks were taken as prisoners, some of them were enslaved. Following the fall of the Academy, an onthoxian mage, Aùr the Devourer, converted a handful of fallen mages and warlocks and formed the unholy Deathcast Order, which formed the essential caster division of the invader army.

The Academy, not long after, was ruined. The march continued.

The damage done to the armies of Dol’sharoc was nevertheless significant, and the time that these brave warlocks and mages gave to the rest of the Empire was priceless. Dwese was ready, Ghaow, eventhough it lacked able men, was convinced that it could at least defend itself.

During the siege of Fortosoweth, Pythe Teleane proclaimed his reign over Solian Kingdom. He, however, was thought to be the murderer of his father; and many refused to recognize his Kingship. Calua Bannerlord Niru Volda renounced his loyalty to the King, along with many other Kith’lath cities. Eventhough there was not an active rebellion, Kith'lath was alerting.

This was when King Pythe Teleane called for the help of Wundhian Queendom, rather desperately. A rebellion in Kith'lath was one of the last things he could deal with, in current conditions.

By the end of the Fortosoweth Siege, new Queen of Wundh, Gallanae-mylen Myllande Falnyr accepted the call of aid, and travelled across the sea with a major army. They desired to land in Calua, but came across with a fierce, unfriendly attitude, as expected.

Not too long after had started a violent battle.

Queen pushed through, destroying the mercenary fleet. However, since they wanted to avoid civilian casualties, they have established a base south of the city, circling it to cut all connection with other Kith'lathian cities.

King Teleane, hearing this news, immediately ordered the Fyllian forces of N’ya to travel north and put an end to this rebellion once and for all. N'yaian Forces arrived, but it was deemed appropriate to end this 'silently' - therefore they have requested the Royal Army to send Calua an able assassin to kill Niru Volda. Since his armies mostly consisted of mercenaries, with the death of their employer, they would simply surrender. Urnyras Jael, or Dheinach Scharren-El'nar of Syera, former leader of the Intelligence Corps was sent to Calua, to do the work. However and unfortunately, her presence was noticed in Calua; and along with her partner Alùn, a strong ùrdaen (which means a person who is able to use ùrda - a strong form of natural magic), she was captured in the city. Though imprisoned, Alùn was a war veteran - he managed to save himself as soon as he gathered his consciousness back, but Urnyras Jael wasn't as lucky. She was captured and enslaved by the traitor Bannerlord, mind-controlled and tortured for days. As Alùn convinced N'yaian and Wundhian forces to siege the city and that the end of the rebellion and the life of Urnyras Jael depended on it, and that Niru Volda was much, much more dangerous than they have anticipated, Krischnokh Illinarth ordered the siege to commence.

During the battle of Calua, Alùn eventually engaged Niru Volda (along with mind-controlled Urnyras Jael) in battle, and shortly before he was about to cast a massive, deadly energy explosion that would kill the entire city along with all civilians, he stabbed Niru Volda, whose body was engulfed by magic. Niru Volda was distracted, but Alùn, who was literally zapped by the raw arcane, got irrevocably injured. The interruption freed Urnyras Jael, who realized Alùn was lying unconscious on the ground. She pretended to be under the effect of the spell for a little while longer, not to attract attention. However, as Niru Volda kneeled before Alùn to kill him, Urnyras Jael was faster - however she, too, was affected by the raw Ùrda magic that Niru Volda was fueled with.

Niru Volda was killed, and with his death, his rebellion mercenaries and pirates scattered in no time, as expected. Urnyras Jael and Alùn were collected from the battlefield. Both were gravely injured, and Alùn died shortly.

The Bannerlords of Dy'orh and Ghin were shortly arrested, and killed for treason to the Throne. So ended the rebellion.

Wundhian Queen Gallanae-mylen established the Wundhian headquarters to Calua City, and maintained the security of Kith’lath; just in case of another rebellion.

...

Around the same time the rebellion started in Kith'lath, Dwesian Siege started both from the sea and land. With the leadership of King Pythe Teleane and Tyranius the Graysteel, Dwese managed to hold the defense lines stable for over seven days. Pythe Teleane led the forces of Dwese to a slight victory. Dol’sharoc’s forces retreated back to Lystendalh, an inland city inhabited by people with Dytherian ancestry to the southeast of Dwese, as well as where a local Dytherian headquarters were located.

Pythe Teleane followed the retreating forces to Lystendalh and surrounded them with Darcovìl rangers (former Ranger Division and Intelligence Corps of N'ya City which were guarding the area from Nin Rivien to Galdwin during the war up until then, was later converted into a joint rangerhood) led by High-Ranger Eoria Ilinarth. Lystendalh was a small town, but now home to a massive enemy army.

The occupation of Lystendalh lasted remarkably long, and furthermore, Dol’sharoc’s forces were in a defensive stance rather than an aggressive one. This was rather surprising for the Solian forces, but nonetheless, everything seemed to be under control. They could not take over Lystendalh, but they did not let the army move outside the city as well.

This was when Umbrys hit the city of Akaramedia to the south, rushing through the Kheron lands of Wultan.

By the time the news reached to the Lystendalh frontiers, Akaramedia was already purged. Thousands died, many fled: it was definitely unfortunate – and unexpected.

Umbrysian Sultan expanded his reach to Alaìs, where he committed another massacre mercilessly, and marched further north, expanding to the Valley of Wullenig and Lyeming region. Unaware kheronae in the mountains were engaged in battle; and the Solian cities in Southern Kith’lath such as Rykssander were occupied.

It was now apparent – Umbrys and Dytheria were in an alliance against the Solian mandate.

After the fall of Rykssander, Umbrysian forces marched directly to the Orbh City as they have settled themselves to the city. By the time the march from the south started, Lystendalh forces unleashed and forced back the occupiers, rushing their way through. Darcovìl rangers tracked the army and was ordered to slow them down, since the massive Solian Army was slower. The damage dealt by Dol’sharoc’s forces were immense.

Dol’sharoc’s forces started the march known as the 'Death March'. The first stop was Ghaow.

Several days later, they occupied Ghaow. The only force that could give a considerable damage to Dol’sharoc’s forces were the rangers of Darcovìl, they were few, but subtle and masters of disguise. On their way, Darcovìl was a crucial fact that delayed the wrath that was about to be casted upon the City of Ghaow.

By the time Dol’sharoc’s forces surrounded the walls of Ghaow, Ottho Droca was more or less ready to defend his city. Valiant, but insufficient – the brave defenders of Ghaow were perished not too long after. Intelligence Corps of Darcovìl was wiped out, and the Ranger Division had to retreat with only twenty-six rangers (out of seven hundred), including Eoria, who have regrouped with the Royal Army and led a scouting squad beforehand, to Orbh City. As the forces led by Pythe Teleane arrived at the city, the city was no more.

Almost no one survived Ghaow. Ottho Droca was given a rank ‘Kyn’. His body was never found.

Extraordinarily ruined and demoralized but furious; the Solian army chased the marching forces of Dol’sharoc all the way to Orbh City. This is approximately around the time the fyllian forces in Calua City requested the assassin to slay Niru Volda.

...

A week after the rebellion ended in Calua, the battle of Orbh started. During the Battle of Orbh, the city turned into a ghost metropolis; the biggest city of Io’wathen was now a battlefield and a ruined ground. Dol’sharoc’s forces, due to the pressure from the north, settled to the southern bank of the city, when Solian armies established their headquarters to the northern bank of the river called Kith’oboth’ae. Krischnokh Illinarth led his forces south. Gallanae-mylen was slightly sceptic about the safety of Calua, therefore left a garrison at the city and followed the fyllian army to Orbh. They made it after five days the battle commenced.

Then, Umbrysian army arrived.

The merciless desert-men joined the ranks of Dol’sharoc’s forces, and the Solian army was pushed into the forest of Orbh – where it is considered to be cursed. The army was literally shattered: Half of the soldiers were killed within the city, and the rest was too few and exhausted to be called an army. Pythe Teleane led his forces through the forest, desperately aiming to reach the City of Jedh. Dol’sharoc’s forces maintained their headquarters within Orbh City and killed the last portion of the civilian survivors that were not lucky enough to leave with the King Pythe Teleane.

Forest was not as cursed as it was rumored to be. The forces reached to the Temple of Orbh, almost broken by hunger and thirst; and the humanoids called fyre were somehow pleased with the presence of the King. There, Pythe Teleane discovered an old secret of his life – his old friend, Taemoth, appeared as the Guardian of the Temple when he was presumed deceased many years ago, during a curious visit to the forest.

Pythe Teleane ordered his forces to carry on to Jedh as quick as possible. The forces of Dol’sharoc were marching towards Jedh, said a frontier scout, and this last stronghold had to be defended. In fact, Jedh was the last intact city in south; the only place that can be defended. However, he remained at the Temple, promising to arrive in time.

Solian armies, led by Queen Gallanae-mylen and Krischnokh Ilinarth reached Jedh City shortly after. Scouts were sent to Nul Meh’l, N'ya, Kith’lath regions and Eastern Wultan. Jedh Bannerlord, a proud member of the Dwesian Jaidoc family, Synhox Jaidoc recruited the entire city as militias and armed them, from the youngest child to the oldest man. The walls were fortified and the city was converted into a remarkable stronghold as quick as possible.

The march started from Orbh City, the armies of Dol’sharoc avoided the Forest of Orbh and passed through the Passage of Faernaen.

Battle of Jedh and the blessing of Pythe Teleane, (Nìen II, 20th day, 26 ABTP)

In 26 A.B.T.P, twentieth midnight of the second nìen, armies of Dol’sharoc reached Jedh City. King was still not in Jedh, and people started rumors that he was dead, even that he ran away.

Nonetheless, the brave heroes in the city swore to battle and defeat these invaders, or die to the last man without any hesitation. “Scared I am,” said Synhox Jaidoc to the defenders of Jedh, “but I am no coward. We shall be triumphant, or die to the last man standing.”

The battle was one of the most epic battles in Io’wathian history. Many heroes died, many heroes were born and many legends were told; but none was as sorrowful as the death of a strong, brave and loyal fylla.

As the breach of north-eastern walls guarded by Krischnokh Ilinarth’s fyllian forces, Synhox Jaidoc sent in reinforcements to support the walls. However, the rush through was faster than Krischnokh expected it to be, so they had to engage into a massive melee battle with the onthox.

One arrow, blew a whistle, and hit Krischnokh from his brave heart.

With the arrow on his heart, Krischnokh sliced about a dozen of onthox, and fell onto his knees eventually. His daughter, High-Ranger Eoria Ilinarth immediately moved to the north-eastern wing from the middle wing where the fiercest battle was taking place. Not long after she arrived, Krischnokh died.

She was sorrowful, suffering but also frenzied; she led the remaining fyllian forces, who were also forged with hatred because of the death of their inspirational, phenomenal leader, to a clear victory in the north-eastern wing. The breach was closed and the onthox were repelled out of the city again.

Gallanae-mylen was the commander of the middle wing with the assistance of Loije’d Quarlyn, and her veteran sentinels were battling mercilessly and bravely. “No woman was like a Wundhian woman,” said Daelnorra, a scholar from Alaìs, about thirteen decades ago; and this was being proved once again. Middle wing, not too long after, maintained a balance and managed to repel the enemy forces.

South-eastern wing was controlled by Bannerlord Synhox Jaidoc and Tyxygor Natheragmai and consisted of the denizens of Jedh City, and surprisingly their losses were few, and the walls were still standing.

However, everyone was waiting for the King to arrive, as he has promised to do so.

A horn blew. A horn blew from the north, a horn of hope. However the tides were not entirely against the Jedh defenders, help was crucial for the victory. Dol’sharoc’s forces were pushing through and apparently they were much more durable. The banner of Nul Meh’l enaer was seen within a sea of torches, carried by Ruphil Nimlàn along with his brother Toldril Nimlàn. Nul Meh’l enaer came all the way to Jedh to pay their debt to the fallen King, Xomepathia Teleane.

With these reinforcements, Jedh defense heartened; they fought back even more enthusiastically. Enaer established at the northern gates of Jedh and supported the Lyrant Knights; they stopped all the attempts of breaching the Solian lines, to reach the western and southern gates. All seemed fine.

However, the King was still absent.

The dawn had come. Several buildings were burning behind the walls by the siege fire of Dol’sharoc’s forces, and the enaer torches were still lid. The battle was carrying on under the new-arriving, red day.

The battle carried on as a ‘tie’, until the next evening. In the 21st day of the second nìen, something that never happened before happened.

First, rain started to pour, and the skies were darker than black. Then, Dol’sharoc appeared above the Jedh city, with all his might and blinding shadowy light around him, holding the Shadow Eternal, the corrupted Light Eternal, in his hands.

Fool,” said Dol’sharoc, looking at the sky. “These are the remains of your once glorious nation. Now, all shall be eradicated once and for all, along with you!

Both the defenders and the onthox ceased fire, watched the might of Dol’sharoc hanging above them, instead.

Dol’sharoc started to chant a dark, unholy spell upon the City of Jedh, but he was interrupted – by a young man.

Pythe Teleane, along with a massive army of kheronae which were the Guardians of the Temple and his old friend Taemoth leading them, rode towards the city of Jedh. He was holding Tyradixe high, and a red, blinding ray of fiery energy appeared from the sword, hit Dol’sharoc and interrupted his focus. Dol’sharoc was nonetheless surprised with this unexpected interruption and got furious.

You arrogant Solian filth!” said Dol’sharoc. “Now your people shall feel the wrath of the Rain and the Desert! Arise, my pupils!

Zethor appeared, and then came Dathias.

Rain started to pour faster, and a sandstorm covered everywhere. Three Synthe were now hanging over the city, and Jedh trembled in fear, when the forces of Dol’sharoc cheerfully yelled and screamed with the presence of their Gods.

Pythe Teleane forced his way to the city. The onthox, surprised with this unexpected arrival, were caught off guard. They could not resist the might of the kheronae and thus, their lines were ambushed from the back. Dol’sharoc yelled in fury, and sent a massive shadow bolt towards the city.

Dol’sharoc was interrupted once again. Fire, stopped the Shadow.

Lyca’nae Verd’s eyes were burning with anger, holding a staff in his hands, made of pure fire. This was called the Goldblaze, Nimphugor.

Stop,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “You have caused enough trouble. This time, you will not be forgiven by any means, along with your ill-fated brother and wicked sister.”

Zethor hissed at the Flamelord.

Your lack of tolerance, brother,” said Dol’sharoc, “Brought your people at the brink of extinction. Now it is the time of our Eila: Dol’sharen, Dythos and Umbrys; with the extinction of yours.

You brought shame to the Synthe Council,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “Your punishment will be merciless – even for me.

Then, Gosto He’uch, Marvyll Dengraid and Lonos Kheronalloc appeared behind Lyca’nae Verd.

Fight for glory, for victory,” cried Lonos Kheronalloc to the armies below, “Eradicate this scum for the sake of your world!

Entire Solian Army was screaming, letting their warcries fill the air.

Enough of this nonsense!” yelled Dol’sharoc, and sent another shadow bolt to Lyca’nae Verd. Then, it was counter-attacked by a fireball, and began the battle of the Synthe above the skies of Jedh City.

Seeing their Synthe battling, Solian forces and Dol’sharoc’s forces started another battle, fiercer, more dramatic and more merciless. Gosto He’uch landed to Jedh and fought along his brethren, just like old days.

Dol’sharoc, empowered by Shadow Eternal and Shadowdawn, was stronger than ever. Lyca'nae Verd and Dol'sharoc battled - battled for long. All other Synthe but them eventually got pacifized. It turned into a one-on-one duel.

Below, Pythe Teleane was leading his forces to a clear triumph with the support he is getting from the fyllian demi-god. The defenders started to counter-attack, and Dol’sharoc’s forces were stepping backwards by every minute.

Tyradixe was legendary. The more hatred Pythe Teleane felt, the more deadly the sword had become. This fyllan blade, forged by a famous Syeran blacksmith, was empowered with the blessing of Gosto He’uch, thus was even more powerful than before. Dol’sharoc’s forces were pushed back to the north, to the bank of Ug’jae River. One by one, they were either slain or they fell to the river.

Situation was slightly otherwise up above, however. Lyca’nae Verd was losing.

Dol’sharoc, using the corrupted artifact Shadow Eternal recklessly, started to overcome the Firelord. With another smash of the artifact, Lyca’nae Verd fell on his knees.

The day I have longed for has come,” said Dol’sharoc, with an extraordinarily pleasant expression. “The end of my twin, the merciless, unjust Firelord, is today.

I agree,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “Such a victory for you, brother, you definitely won.

He was, however, still holding the Goldblaze in his hands.

Though,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “You are still a fool, immature apprentice to be convinced that I have lost.

He raised Goldblaze, the staff that was crafted to grant the Kings of Io’wathen the powers of a Golden Spirit. It was a rare event, thus, about three or four Kings in entire Io’wathen history are known to be granted such a rank. A Golden Spirit, or Nimlynth, has immense powers; even as strong as a demi-god.

Goldblaze glowed in a blinding red colour, and a fast ray of light left the staff, directly heading to the battling King: Pythe Teleane.

King’s body absorbed the light. He stopped, dropped Tyradixe, and slowly looked around. Both the forces of Dol'sharoc and Solian soldiers were surprised and stepped back, rather observing the transformation of the King: he literally looked larger and it was as if his spirit was visible, lingering above him. He slowly looked above, closed his eyes and cried out. His aura was now heroic: Solian soldiers felt the courage and wisdom within.

He, again, took Tyradixe from the ground.

“I, Pythe Adymund Teleane,” said Pythe, “Hereby swore to eradicate this ungodliness in the name of the Firelord.”

He held Tyradixe with both his hands, and directed it towards the direction of the shattered forces of Dol’sharoc at the edge of the cliffs. He yelled, and a strong blast was released from the blade. Onthox screamed, but Pythe had no mercy. In no time, onthox either died or ran away.

Dol’sharoc, above, was surprised but displeased with this unexpected event. Lyca’nae Verd, even more tired with the last ritual he committed, kneeled on his both legs. He smiled.

I told you,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “You are a fool. Your victory, brother, does not indicate –my- loss, necessarily.

Dol’sharoc yelled, and swung Shadow Eternal to the Firelord. Firelord opposed with Goldblaze, he parried; but staff fell down to land.

Pythius, observing the situation above, rode towards the staff and picked it up. The rest; Gallanae-mylen, Taemoth, Quarlyn, Tyxygor, Eoria and others were watching the battle above, with worried eyes. Solian army was victorious on land, but there was another battle to be won: and Lyca’nae Verd was really losing, despite his sarcastic behavior, just not to demoralize his people, who are witnessing the duel.

Pythius held the staff with his left hand and Tyradixe with his right: He crossed both weapons. Goldblaze was burning, but it did not hurt Pythius.

He yelled, and unleashed the fury of the entire war. He, at that moment, unleashed the entire hatred that the entire Solian nation had towards this murderer, lustful and reckless Synthe; the Nightlord, the enemy.

Expectedly, the fury and the hatred were immense.

A bright, blinding red beam appeared and headed through Dol’sharoc; who was about to land a final blow to the Firelord. He, however, was distracted with this immense presence.

The bolt hit Dol’sharoc, and unexpectedly, he was now the one on his knees. He dropped Shadow Eternal and Shadowdawn to the ground. Pythius, with the power he just unleashed, lost his conscious and fainted.

Lyca’nae Verd slowly stood up, moved his hand and called the Shadow Eternal and Shadowdawn to himself and kept his smile. As Shadow Eternal touched the Firelord, it was cleansed, say some scholars.

I repeat,” echoed the Firelord’s voice. “You –are- a fool.

He, then, turned his gaze down to the remains of the Solian army and the city of Jedh.

Witness my words, my people,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “I hereby imprison this reckless and guilty Synthe to the eternity of unknown dimensions, and leave his devilry to the mercy of long gone Cedes. Dol’sharoc is no more, witness my words.

Then, he lifted his hands to the sky, summoning a gargantuan firestorm. It was as if the fire was devouring the skies. A fiery tornado sucked Dol'sharoc, Dathias and Zethor inside, and Lyca'nae Verd screamed. His scream echoed all over the realm - from Olthoborhen to Umbrys.

They were eventually gone.

Marvyll, Lonos and Gosto were freed. Four Synthe landed on earth, and for the very first time of Io’wathen history, Synthe were seen by such a mass in their material forms. All have witnessed, quotes Lyca’naian Chronicles, “the perfection of the glorious, mighty Synthe.”

Jedh City was redeemed, and the taint of Dol’sharoc was cleansed immediately by the power of cleansed Light Eternal. Survivors of the city, defenders and soldiers helped to repair the damaged buildings, fires were extinguished, wounded were cured and healed.

The blessing of Lyca’nae Verd was upon his people.

Pythe Adymund Teleane, son of Xemopathia Teleane, Maelfean III,” said Lyca’nae Verd. “From now on, you shall be known as Pythius Telius; you shall be the third-ever Golden Spirit in existence, and the only one alive. May you use your powers for the good of your people, and lead Io’wathen to a bright future.

By the end of the battle, it is rumored that Lyca’nae Verd and Pythius Telius, the Golden Spirit, had a long conversation, known as the Jedh Conversations. The content is not entirely known, but it is told to be a briefing about Pythius Telius’ new powers for he was now the Golden Spirit of Lyca’nae Verd, the highest rank that a King can ever achieve.

Gallanae-mylen, Eoria, Quarlyn and Tyranius led their forces to the Ossax and Nin-thu, as well as southern regions to eradicate the remnants of the tainted armies of Dol’sharoc. Lystendalh was removed from existence, the residents were sent to nearby towns and the area was quarantined by Darcovìl Rangers. Shortly after, Darcovìl became the official armed force of N’ya City, as Eoria Ilinarth became the Bannerlord of her hometown. Urnyras Jael recovered in N'ya, but her wounds were never entirely cured.

By the year 28 ABTP, two years from the Battle of Jedh, Dol’sharoc’s onthox were no more on the Mainland. The wounds were healing in time. King, Golden Spirit of Lyca’nae Verd, Pythius Telius was officially crowned by Keep-Guardian Tyxygor Natheragmai.

A treaty was signed between Solian Empire, Wundh Queendom, Nul Meh’l dwarves, N’ya City and Fyre of Orbh. This treaty was the foundation of a new alliance: the Federation of Northern Echiott. Rolinbragh was the capital, and it was lead by a Council called Verndalar; “the High Council”. King Pythius Telius Nimlynth for Solian Empire, Queen Gallanae-mylen Myllande Falnyr for Wundh Queendom, High-Ranger Eoria Ilinarth for N’ya and fyllae, Knight-Lord Ruphil Nimlàn for enaer and Head Guardian Taemoth, on behalf of Fyre-queen Selis Daelin.

Pact assured an unbreakable unity among these nations, and revealed the secrets of Orbh Forest, involving the Temple-City within the Orbh Forest as a faction. Fyre, however, were hesitant about such an incident, but nonetheless knew that the Golden Spirit of Lyca’nae Verd was the one to follow.

B) The Occupation of Dytheria: The Night's End

At the beginning of 29th year after Pythius Telius’ birth, the occupation of Dytheria was launched with the authorization of the High Council, to end the rule of Prince Lua Shrormae of Dytheria. Pythius Telius assigned a veteran of war, Commander Haul Mercaren to lead the occupation.

The twelfth day of the first nìen, after a journey lasted five days, Haul landed on the ghost town Iogard Yjes. Federation Armies marched north to Waesandra, passed through L’isain and faced the terrible corruption of Dol’sharoc spread by the frenzied and blinded armies of onthox and Dytheria. However, under the darkened, heavy skies of Dytherian Island, there was none to resist. L’isain, just like Iogard Yjes, was abandoned.

Two days after reaching L’isain, armies reached Waesandra. City was not entirely abandoned, but more than half of it was lying in ruins. Fortosgringor was razed. Residents of Waesandra looked desperate and pitiful. There was almost no food, and with the arrival of the Army, they begged for mercy. The city smelled rotting corpse and burnt flesh, and there was a deadly plague, according to what Haul was reported by the clerics.

Later, Haul figured out that Prince Lua ran away to Math’rithian region to the north, leaving his people to perish and die of poverty, just to save his own life.

Federation armies rode towards the northern region of Dytheria; Math’rith, and stormed the entire region, seeking the fallen ruler of Dytheria. Eventually, when the armies reached Math’rith City, Lua was found. Too scared, demoralized and panicked, he attacked the Federation armies in frenzy.

That battle only ended innocent lives of Math’rith defenders who were already weak and tired. They were outnumbered by Federation armies one to ten, and dramatically, Federation occupied Math’rith. Lua, eventually, surrendered.

He was weak, unconscious and crazed when he surrendered. It is later understood that he had not eaten anything in four days, and could hardly find any water to drink.

The battle against the city defenders razed one third of the city by heavy fire of Federation siege weapons, but there were not many civilians to die of siege fire. Plague and poverty already killed them even before the arrival of the Federation armies.

C) The Redemption of Dytheria

By the imprisonment of their Synthe, Dytheria was left out of their blessing, and within two years, almost ninety percent of the population died before the arrival of Federation armies, and that has been figured out during the inquiry of Lua Shrormae. He was also infected, but he was cleansed and cured by the healers and Fire-priests of the Solian Fire-temple.

After his recovery, Lua was brought to Rolinbragh, and imprisoned below the Red Castle of Rolinbragh, the cell Pythe was imprisoned after his father’s death. Pythius immediately ordered the cleansing of Dytheria, and including volunteers, thousands of healers, fire-priests, Dytherian locals who have been cured and redeemed, a minority of redeemed onthox was determined to rebuild Dytheria. At the beginning of the 33rd year, Dytheria was almost entirely cleansed, and Pythius maintained a coalition government there led by two leaders, one of Dythos-Dol’sharen Eila, and one of onthox, who were recovering under the blessing of their god, Ywolo. Many onthox are known to remain on the surface. The ones who came up to surface were named as the eulonthox, the 'land onthox'. They have established new residences there after the end of the cleansing of Dytheria.

Lua, on the other hand, was a conflict for the Federation. Pythius signed the authorization for his execution, but Federation postponed his death penalty for all this period of cleansing. By the end of the year 33, Lua was executed, and his death penalty was reasoned of his war crimes and treason to the Synthe Council and the Solian Kingdom.

Not long after he died, a diary was recovered from his cell.

It was a book of confession, a cry for redemption, and a slight evidence of what and who Lua really was. He wrote down the entire war; how Dol’sharoc and Zethor occupied his mind, how they brought him to the brink of insanity. He was forced to backstab the Kingdom, according to his diary, and his words were inevitable. He wrote his shame for turning into a puppet, and his lack of courage to surrender and confess to the King. He, under their influence, wrote down times when he remembered nothing. Even though they were banished, it was apparent from the diary that he was still afraid of Dol’sharoc and Zethor.

He quietly wrote down that he is ready to accept the worship of Lyca’nae Verd; he also wrote down that he may not resist his execution due to his crimes.

Lua, eventually, died with his regrets.

His diary, when read by the King, impressed him deeply. He immediately ordered Dytherian governance to build a monument in the name of Lua –and the governance renamed the eastern region as Lualand after that- also officially declared his redemption and acceptance by the Federation.

Lua had to die, Pythius knew that; but at least that could be done for him.

C) Umbrysian Resistance

Following Lua's execution, Pythius Telius turned towards the southern sultanate of Umbrys - the other betrayer nation. Reports indicated that Gosto Felari II, the Sultan at the war fled to Lotu'sa in search for safety, but the Lotu'san Duchess Maelli Sha-Wen refused to aid him. She was aware of the expanding Federation, and the last thing Lotu'sa wanted was a conflict with the Golden Spirit. As they managed to remain neutral during Brell-Kyrosvenna, the only thing the Lotu'san wanted was to keep their tranquil land a safe place for the denizens.

Consequently, Gorno Felari was dismissed from the land.

Pythius Telius knew that Gorno had to die, too, in order to ensure that there shall be no other rebellion. He asked Urnyras Jael to 'conclude' the deed. Urnyras Jael obeyed, and travelled south, to finish off the betrayer Sultan.

Urnyras Jael, for the last three years, was focused on recovering from the deep wounds of war. Her face was half-burnt, and she had to cover it with a mask that she never took out since then. She lived the life of a ghost eversince - as if she did not really exist. The King's assignment was more like a wake up call, that she, regardless of what she has been through, had to live. She belonged to the Temple. She was a Disciple. The last of her beloved Intelligence Corps.

She eventually found Gorno Felari in the City of Iara, a Lotu'san trade hub, in disguise. It is known that she killed Gorno Felari, but noone has heard of her after the report she sent to Rolinbragh, confirming Gorno's death. Some say she travelled to where she was born, to Syera, and shortly after died there.

After Gorno's death, his son, Gonrad Felari came to power. Gonrad was a reasonable and pacifist diplomat - who, after taking control of the realm, initiated peace talks with the Federation representatives. This was the only peace-based initiation after the war, which resulted in the establishment of the Order of the Southern Crusade, 'to ensure safety and development in the south, and to establish equal opportunities all over Echiott'. Umbrys officially surrendered, and the Federation promised significant scientific, economical and social development in return.

D) Aftermath

During the very first times of the Federation and shortly after the redemption of Dytheria, the mandate was rather dictatorial and turned out to be a “Holy Empire”, with Pythius Telius’ influence over the governance. A spiritual, but at the same time, diplomatically structured King, he was hard to resist. As the biggest and the most organized crusade action, the Order of the Southern Crusade shortly scattered all over Southern Echiott and established fortresses and headquarters. Bulgir Stronghold, a remote Eila castle to far south, was established and constructed by the crusaders as the main headquarters. The King's and the Southern Crusade's fame were inevitably widespread in entire Echiott in no time.

At the year 36, Pythius Telius and Gallanae-mylen Myllande Falnyr married in Rolinbragh, and this also established stronger ties between Wundhian and Solian people. Not too long after, barely a couple of months, their only daughter Tyria Teleane-Falnyr was born. Inevitably after the marriage, Wundh and Solia formed a federal kingdom. Afterwards, the ties with the Olthoborhen Eila were established, and new trade routes to the Frozen North were discovered.

By the year 38, the Southern Crusade was undoubtedly the strongest military presence in the south. It was also a very deeply organized missionary action in the entire Echiott, also working as an intelligence service of the Federation, alerting Rolinbragh in case of an opposition or rebellion against the King and the Council particularly in the southern regions. However, Federation did not do as it promised. Umbrys was as under-developed as it always was, even after years of the settlement of the Crusade.

Not too long after, Uldold enaer (led by the bloodline of Nimlàn) of Nul Meh’l left their city to the residence of Eila and travelled to Dul Margorath. Ruphil Nimlàn, as a significant ally and a party of the Federation, aimed to establish a dwarven kingdom there to serve the Federation, and enhance the strength of the Federation in the Southern regions. Despite Gonrad's peaceful intentions, many patriots considered Umbrys as a threat.

By the year 42, Ruphil and Toldril Nimlàn, after long debates and discussions with the remnants of Dul Margorath enaer, encouraged them and established the Uldold Enaer Kingdom in Dul Margorath. No wonder Lotu’sa government was displeased of the major presence of enaer in Dul Margorath, but they did not want to oppose the Federation. In four years, Umbrys and Lotu’sa retreated with the influence of enaer presence there, and both kingdoms were suppressed by the enaer armies. Federation imposed relocation policies to Umbrys and Lotu’sa to assimilate them; both from Dul Margorath and Northern Echiott – even Wundh. Umbrys and Lotu’sa, even unwillingly, accepted it - but that was when Gonrad realized that the Federation had no interest in helping Umbrys in terms of development, as it was promised. The only thing Umbrysian people got in return was further surpression and more suffering.

Pythius Telius, on the other hand, wanted to remain loyal to the promise the Federation gave to Umbrys. However, as he was somehow striving to achieve other ideals too, such as a Unified Io’wathen Nation, he failed to prioritize the local development of Umbrys, which may or may not be the cause of Umbrys' inevitable surpression. Local Federation Commanders were immensely arbitrary: they killed people at will, confiscated property of the locals. This behaviour merely pumped up an aggression against the Federation.

The Federation, with the forced inclusion of Umbrys, expanded its reach and renamed itself the Federation of Io’wathen. It now additionally included Dytheria, Umbrys and Lotu’sa; as well as the Southern Crusade Knights acting as a federal law-enforcement organization. Enaer Kingdom was a party of this Federation, as well, with the relocation of the Nimlàn brood and the establishment of the new Enaer Kingdom in Dul Margorath. This Federation, just like the former one, was being governed from Rolinbragh. It was planned that Kheros Thûn kheronae would join the Federation too, however, they refused any sort of diplomatic communication with the Eila. Pythius Telius promised the Kheros Thûn kheronae not to touch their tranquility and grace if they do not harm any citizen of the Federation.

This Federation succeeded to remain for two decades, starting from the year 44, until the year 63. It disbanded three years after the death of Pythius Telius.

The exact reason for his death is a mystery. It is even not for sure whether he died; his body was never found.

The year 60 was a year when the Southern regions were under influence of an inevitable nationalist wave. The news of rebellion was well-known and infamous, so Pythius Telius decided to travel to Umbrysian realms. On his way south, after stopping by in Akaramedia for a brief rest, the convoy carried on their journey.

Not too long after, Pythius Telius and Gallanae-mylen Telius were never seen again. It is imperative to point out that the rest of the convoy made it to Umbrys safely and without harm, and they have all failed to figure out where they had gone or what happened to them.

“It was a moment that they were there, and then not,” said one of the royal guards of Red Castle of Rolinbragh, who was escorting the King and the Queen. “It was like a moment cut from my past. It is definitely missing. I remember nothing.”

E) Brell Kyraneth (The Second Lament)

After their presumed death, their only daughter Tyria Teleane-Falnyr remained as the only royal member of the Teleane bloodline. She governed the country until the year 63 with his husband Rhond Jaidoc, son of Synhox Jaidoc, and then during the Nationalist Revolution, she was shot by a crossbow and killed by an Umbrysian extremist in Rolinbragh.

Rhond Jaidoc survived the attack, and then formed the Solian National Offensive, which then turned out to be the armed force of the Solian Kingdom. Umbrys declared its independence from the Federation, and then the war known as the Second Lament started at the year 64 with Umbrys attacking Wultan.

Next ten years in Echiott would be summarized with one single word: butchery. Lotu’sa, too, rebelled for the first time in history, and broke its neutrality. Most unexpected was the rebellion of Akaramedia as a separate governance, with the growing Umbrysian and kheronae population in the city.

Rhond Jaidoc declared his dominance over the Empire and swore to carry the legacy of the Golden Spirit. He was crowned as the new King, the first ever after Pythius Telius.

The Second Lament War still carries on, at the year 77.

*: As Pythe Teleane was the only witness of the death of his father the King, Xemopathia Teleane, he was accused of being responsible for the murder. In a futile attempt to prove that he was innocent, he found himself imprisoned below the Red Fort of Rolinbragh. As the Keep-Guardian of the Castle at the time assigned Tyxygor Natheragmai, a very close friend of the Prince and the King himself, to inform the Prince that he was to be executed. However, Tyxygor was more than convinced that the Prince was innocent. Instead, Tyxygor aided Pythe to flee, freeing him from cell. When inquired by the Keep-Guardian, he lied that the Prince simply ran away. In his fury, the Keep-Guardian attacked Tyxygor, but was killed. Tyxygor, therefore, was exiled as a punishment, but there are conspiracy theories that he was intentionally sent to Dwese to aid the forces there, since it was highly anticipated that the invader army was to land there initially.

supplementary lore reading (1): concerning the creation and the synthe

Hello. As I have realized recently that many of the stories (as of now, the tale of urnyras jael) I have posted on this website lack some background information, thus some or all parts may not make sense to some people. Below, you will find a brief focus on the deities of Waethius. Instead of posting it here piece by piece, I will post it as a whole.

This is a sketch-article, and I have posted it as it was first drafted. Modifications are in order.

I hope you enjoy the reading.

-Lyca'nae Verd Solia - The God of Fire The first Child of the great godly essence called Cedes in Solian language; he is the eldest of all Holy Spirits, the “Synthe”. He is the only one who has seen the universe within the creation of it. Cedes, at the very first times of the creation, forged the Tyramàl Endùri[1] within the ancient flames of eternity and shaped it, then Lyca’nae, the Firelord, was created when the planet was fully shaped. At first, there was nothing but endless redlands with many volcanoes and lava seas, as told in the Lyca’naian Chronicles, the holy inscription that is claimed to be sent by Lyca’nae himself to his former Golden Shadows[2].

Later, as the flames of the land faded by time, the land soothed eventually. Lyca’nae watched and searched for another living spirit for such a long time, but found none. The land was getting colder every century, which was not any different than a simple minute to the Firelord; he feared the loss of the entire fire in these lands. He kept a small amount of fire and protected it in a cave. There, he named this flame, Flame Eternal, as he decided to keep this fire to be the origin of every light ever shines.

However, as the lone Firelord figured out later, this desolate and endless badland must have a livelier destiny, a reason of creation. He thought on these issues for such a long time, without doing anything else. Shortly after, a silhouette of Cedes appeared to him. With this unexpected visit, Lyca’nae had fear and excitement.

Cedes spoke: “Lyca’nae, you have suffered the everlasting torture of the Creation; though you have survived the entire process as I have already foreseen. Now, as it is obvious to you, the land has calmed down and awaits its destiny to be fulfilled. I have created the Time, Hope, Strength and Wisdom; but I will not be the one who gives body to them. I will start my endless journey now – I have done what I should have done and now I leave. Use Wisdom to figure out what you may need, Strength to work with, Time to work through; and Hope, to rely on. You shall control the Fire, the basic element of this realm; you shall own it, rule it, use it and also serve it. I will be so far away that you shall not ever imagine; but I will gaze upon and I may return at the dawn of destruction.”

Then, Cedes disappeared suddenly. Lyca’nae, with his Flame Eternal, was left alone again. Then as he was spoken, he decided to figure out his powers to create the advanced forms of his Fire. First, he thought of another element that he might make the land livable. Thus, he created the Fertility, in another name, the Nature’s Spirit. He gladly observed the conversion of the deadlands into fertile fields, all the flowers and trees, a fresh air and surprisingly, animals. The first animal that Lyca’nae noticed was a deer, a brown one with strong legs and body. Then, a blinding flash of life appeared from the ground, a deep, light green light that filled Lyca’nae with pleasure and healthiness. From the ground, a beautiful silhouette of a woman appeared; she had long green hair made of shiny grass and peaceblooms, clovers and various other flowers. She also had green eyes but a pink skin; she had a serious impression on her face as Lyca’nae first had the chance to see it. She slowly opened her eyes and gazed up to the sky, then took a deep breath. She looked down to Lyca’nae with a pleasure smile on her face, as Lyca’nae returned her a questioning gaze.

She spoke, as she kept this pleasant impression on her face: “You must be the creator of this wonder, Glorious One. The fertility of this land has created me, the angry and sleeping lands and your life-giving Fire had me born. Now as you are my Creator, I shall serve you, control the balance of this land and keep it in peace. I shall not let anything harm it and keep your creation as it is mine. What shall I call myself, I do not know. Name me, and I will be honored.”

Lyca’nae was amused and felt joyful as the beautiful woman spoke. The overwhelming feeling he had towards her shook the land, but not in a harmful way, this was how the land met the Spirit of “Love”. Love wandered, the wise men speak, and the ones who are considered to be lucky meet with the Spirit are told to be in love. Curse it could be, they say, or the most precious gift.

Lyca’nae spoke: “I am the Creator of this realm. By the One, Cedes, I have been made and sent here; suffered many things and saw the land from the very first times of its creation. The burning land calmed down in time, and I was told to create and make this land ready for its destiny. Thus I created you, but I was not aiming to create such a beauty beyond the fertility and balance of this land. Now, I have been honored with your presence, and I shall name you Iara Enàa, the Motherland, the Mistress of Nature and Fertility. Now, hear your name and remember it.”

Then, Iara Enàa repeated her name, afterwards with the green and white rays of light, again turned back to the land and became a part of it.

The following times, Lyca’nae thought that he accomplished setting the balance of the nature. However, as the time passed, he realized that the land is losing its fertility, green trees and colorful flowers fade to yellow and orange colors. He, however, could not give a meaning to this – until Iara Enàa again appeared to him. She, with a sorrowful face and an ill attitude, looked at Lyca’nae and said: “The Creator; you see, the land is again fading to death. I am losing all my sons and daughters – animals are suffering and dying, although they find food, they lack something else. This entire Greenland is not enough to carry on; we need a source of life!” Then, with the pain and agony she is suffering, Iara Enàa started to cry.

It was a miracle; her tears aided the dying land as Lyca’nae realized that momentarily. She cried for ages; until her tears reached to the edge of the realm. Seas were filled, lakes appeared, and rivers started to flow.

“Ah, sweet Motherland; you have found what this land needed from the beginning, the source of life! Your tears are Life, the Needed, the source of everything! I was mistaken, my beloved Creation; I was mistaken when I thought Fire was the source of everything, but your tears proved me wrong! Your tears were strong enough to beat the Fire; and the land consumed the water and absorbed the life in it; and Fire burned down the greenness, you have placed the missing peace of this balance of nature!”

Motherland felt warmth in her with the flattering words of Lyca’nae Verd. She dismissed the sorrow from her heart and welcomed happiness as her tears filled the oceans. She cried and cried; until the land entirely flooded. She washed away all the corruption and death, and filled the entire planet with water eventually. Only four rocks, like spears growing from the Seas, remained on the surface. Winds followed the flood – typhoons and storms blew for many, many centuries.

The winds and angry seas carved and gave shape to the rocks. Four humanoid statues were shaped by the sea eventually, nearly after seven millennia. This was when Cedes made his unexpected return.

His voice, says Lyca’naian Chronicles, echoed the skies of stormy planet; “At last! You have accomplished your objective, my children! Now, this land shall be remade once and for all, and life shall be granted to the denizens of it. These rocks I shall grant the very first life on this planet, and name them Cedeili. I shall give them durability as rocks they were carved from, but also an intelligence to survive. May the destiny show them what to live for. Lyca’nae, hear my words.”

“I have heard,” said Lyca’nae Verd, as the second echo filling the stormy skies. “I shall overlook the Cedeili on your behalf, the One.”

“The lands you shall create will consist of several of territories,” assured Cedes. “I shall not give you and your beloved Motherland all the responsibility, so I will give you assistants to aid you.

Dathias shall be your sister, and shall rule the desolate, yellow and sandy realms.

Zethor shall be your brother, and shall rule the rain pouring down to your realms to grant fertility.

Marvyll shall be your daughter, along with the Motherland, and Motherland shall give birth to her soon. She shall rule the Xyor’s light; let the giant bolt of flame to give life and heat to your planet.

Lonos shall be your son, along with the Motherland, and Motherland shall give birth to him soon. He shall represent might and courage that exists on your realms. May he create the races of might and wisdom.

Xequ shall be embraced by the nature herself and represent everything unknown.

Waldainar shall be your brother, ruling the Cold.

Draelia shall be your sister, ruling the Air.

Kilrug shall be your brother, the Motherland, and aid you as you rule the Seas.

Brelldar shall be your brother, the Motherland, and rule the instinct of battling, the warfare. He shall be the god of Winning and Losing.

Hyxaia shall be your sister, the Motherland, and represent the equity, equality and justice among your people.

Ywolo shall be your brother, the Motherland, and rule the spirits of the Dead.

Dol’Sharoc shall be your twin, Lyca’nae Verd, and represent the Night, when the Flames of Xyor are not around.”

Cedes gave the rocks life, and vanished once again. This was the last time he ever appeared. As the humanoid rocks were slowly opening their eyes, by the command of Lyca’nae Verd and efforts of the Motherland, the first land started to rise: The Echiott Island. All was shaped: as it appeared, all life seemed to be already there. Lyca’nae Verd led the humanoids to the Dimension of the Synthe to let the Motherland shapen the land completely.

Lyca’nae named the male humanoids Xu, and Xili was the name for the female; two of them were seen to be male and the other two were female. Lyca’nae granted the bodily strength to Xu to protect Xili, and made Xili relatively more intelligent to overlook Xu. They formed a harmony that way, as if they were a whole together.

Shortly after, as the land was shaped by the Motherland, Lyca’nae sent the four Cedeili to Echiott Island, today’s Ossax. The Firelord, along with the Motherland, watched Cedeili to breed. Lyca’nae also created other humanoids whom he called Fugeili; they looked like Cedeili but not as holy as the ones created by Cedes himself. Fugeili were also sent down to Echiott to live under the Cedeili.

In several centuries, Cedeili formed an ancient government where the Fugeili lived under their rule. An Aristocratic rule it was; with no king but a Council of Nobles where the Cedeili were represented. The Cedeili called their state Rymbrekh, located at today's Nin Rivien Valley.

Cedeili built temples and places of worship in the name of Cedes and Lyca’nae Verd, they built glorious cities, bridges, statues. They achieved a great technology shortly after with the holy gifts granted to them by Cedes. They, by the alleged influence of Xequ, started to practice magic. They enchanted their cities by magic and used for the good of their people. They never battled with weapons and armor of steel; however, the competed within their kingdom. They organized competitions, races and they practiced gymnastics.

By the end of the second millennia, Cedeili refused to breed anymore, and they vanished after another two or three centuries; leaving their country to the breeding Fugeili eventually. This was when the Fugeili left the Aristocratic government and formed the kingships, overthrowing the few Cedeili still striving to rule. Unfortunately, Fugeili could not carry on the heritage of Cedeili’s almost flawless rule – they slowly got separated. Countless changes occurred in many millennia. Eventually, a man called Njarno Fen’jar united all the separated tribes under a banner and formed the nomadic rule of Wunj-Wendalama’rean (or as referred to in other several sources, Wunj-Wenda) in 62,000 Pythian Calendar. Not long after, the tribe developed Fugeilan letters and the primitive version of the Solian common tongue used widespread in Io'wathen today (or Wendan, as it was called at the day). Thus, this is stands as a significant importance in the history of Eila. The tribe lived in Nin-thu and Ossax and rarely traveled South of Akaramedia’s whereabouts. The tribe worshipped Lyca’nae Verd as he granted live to the current and living Eila. Many did not even know of Cedes other than the Cedeilian inscriptions in ancient temples.

Cedeili, to add, did use a way of communication and calculations and scribed them; however it was the Fugeili who formed the first systematic alphabet with the guidance of those inscriptions. - Good (Ardsynth of the Council)

-Letha Jalèen The Goddess of Nature and Fertility, Nature’s Spirit and the “Motherland”; “Iara Enàa” Look above for the information concerning the Motherland. – Good (Member of the Council)

-Dathias Umbrys - The Goddess of Deserts Sister of Lyca’nae Verd, Dathias was created by Cedes during his second visit to the Planet as he created the Eila race. Cedes had foreseen the soon-to-be created deserts in the new realms and thus did not desire to forsake these remote lands, Dathias was created to rule and oversee these desolate lands and the races living on them. She, however, never got to agree with his elder brother and their known clashes are even told in the legends of the Spirits. Like his other brother, Zethor, Dathias agreed that Lyca’nae was full of flaws to be the Ardsynth.

Dathias did not have many devout worshippers until the breakdown of Wunj-Wendalama’rean. After the accusation of Dol’sharoc to be a betrayer to the Council and imprisonment he has been sentenced by the majority of the Spirit Council, Dol'Sharoc's siblings and pupils Zethor and Dathias were furious at Lyca'nae Verd as the mastermind of Dol'Sharoc's conviction. Thus, they swore for revenge and started to plant separatist thoughts among the people of Wunj-Wenda. As Zethor encouraged the Dol’sharen (then-called Khara-Vallen) and Dythos Clans to break free to establish their own government, Dathias was the one who encouraged the Umbrys Clan. When the Night-worshipping Khara-Vallen renamed themselves as Dol’sharen and accepted Zethor as their second god after Dol’Sharoc the Nightlord, Dythos considered Zethor to be their main Spirit. Dathias, on the other hand, became the main Spirit for the nomadic Umbrys Clan. After the long-lasting and dramatic wars among the Clans under Wunj-Wenda banner, with the guidance of their Synthe, Umbrys Clan immigrated to the southern Echiott deserts, with half of its population perished either in the battle or on the way south.

She is known for his vile nature and merciless wrath. - Neutral/Evil (Member of the Council)

-Zethor “Margorium” Dytheria - The God of Rain Brother of Lyca’nae Verd, Zethor was created during Cedes’ second visit to the planet. Along with many of other Spirits, he was also created by Cedes during the creation of Eila race. He was assigned to rule the rains and fertility and to aid the Motherland; but he turned out to be a rebel instead of an assistant to her.

From his very creation, Zethor was trained by Dol’sharoc the Nightlord, in any way possible. He learned how to master the rain, how to use it properly; but when Dol’sharoc turned against the Council and risked the presence of the Council with his reckless acts, he was left without his instructor. Dol’sharoc, with his godly skills of encouragement, easily managed to turn Zethor against Lyca’nae Verd easily before he was imprisoned. Zethor swore to avenge Dol’sharoc, and grew with such a desire for revenge all these millennia. Along with his sister Dathias, he is known to provoke several Clans to break free of Lyca’nae Verd’s worship and establish their own governments as separate Clans. Expectedly, they had rebelled against Wunj-Wendalama’rean’s dominance and started to war against them; but they eventually lost the war. The three main rebel Clans were exiled; when Umbrys was sent to south; Dythos and Dol’sharen were sent to the north and Lyca’nae Verd demanded Zethor to create his own realm for his exiled people. So he did; created the Island of Dytheria (or Lemnor Daàl'eila; the Land of the Exiled Eila), of Dythos and Dol’sharen Clans. These two clans mixed in time on this third biggest island of Io’wathen continent.

He has a fierce character, rarely speaking within the Outer Dimension; he is known for his silent but effective interventions to the governance of Lyca’nae Verd as the Ardsynth. - Neutral/Evil (Member of the Council)

-Marvyll Vinyll Dengraid Wundh - The Goddess of Xyor The daughter of the Firelord and the Motherland, Marvyll proved to be a great synthesis of the two ascendant Spirits. She has a soothing influence over her people, the Matriarchal Wundhal Clan, as they built their cities within the forest of Wundh after the breakdown of Wunj-Wenda.

Marvyll Dengraid was trained by his mother, the Motherland, with the guidance of his father, Lyca’nae Verd. She was trained to watch over the source of all life, Xyor the Lifegiver, the giant star at the center of Xyori System. She has an instinctual respect and embrace for all nature, thus before Gosto He’uch’s arrival, she was also responsible for nature and forests. She is merciful, but she always believed in the dominance and superiority of female kind, therefore influenced her worshippers the way she believed. Most probably, the only male she respected like she respected a woman is Lyca’nae Verd.

When the Wunj-Wendalama’rean scattered, the woman-dominated Eila Clan called Wundhal also demanded to determine their own destiny. With an agreement signed between Wundhal and the dominant Rivandae and Kalbarach Clans in order to assure the alliance, Wundhal Clan was permitted to leave Northern Echiott to Wundh Island (then called Borllyndàr). Wundh Island is the second biggest island in Io’wathen continent. For many decades Wundhal Clan fought against the nordic native tribes of Borllyndàr, but eventually they had established a matriarchal empire there. - Good (Member of the Council)

-Gosto He’uch Fyllaen - The Demi-god of Nature and Forests Gosto He’uch is the only Demi-god who have been granted the Synthe status after his birth. He was born an elùdor in Eru’wathen (or Elùdaur in elùdae language), as the son of a chief-general of Glistar family. His family was accused with alienation and treason to the elùdor nation; which led to a collective hatred of other elùdor families towards them. Elùdor race is known to exclude the ones who are different in terms of bloodline, with their obsession of the pure blood. Glistar was a welcoming family with no such cares, yet it cost them a lot.

As the ruling family of the Elùdor capital, Bloodspill[3] City, Chetrach was primarily concerned about the behavior of this wild, ignoble family inhabiting the Glisto Island off-shore Mid-southern Elùdaur. Shortly after their diplomatic contacts with other pureblood elùdor families, Chetrach sentenced Glistar to be eradicated entirely. With the fear of death of his family, Glistar evacuated Glisto, and sailed away from Elùdaur to the west. Gosto He’uch Glistar was the chief-general at the time.

They sailed for over two years and wandered along the deep waters of Io-Sath, discovered new landscapes and small islands. No elùdor dared to sail this far, Gosto knew that, but instead of being subject to a genocide, he knew he’d rather drown in this endless ocean. At a time when he lost his hope, he named his people feì-lela elùdae, meaning “the Sea-wanderers of Elùdor” in their native tongue. In time, the name descended into the word fylla.

After the second year at the sea, when their stocks and outer resources where they gathered from the unknown islands on the way almost ran out, fylla reached the biggest land they have ever seen in two years. They started the journey with thousands of survivors in about sixty ships, and when they landed on Lonnach shores in Altor region, southern Kith’lath, there were only five hundred fyllae left.

Gosto was craving to discover this unknown land, so he expanded his discovery squads as fast as possible. Native kheronae were not pleased to see these oversea strangers, yet they reacted wildly – the first war that fyllae engaged was against the kheronae. Fyllae, as denizens of Eru’wathen, a place of relatively advanced technology, overcame the tribal kheronae forces.

Gosto ordered not to offend any of the local races anymore, with the awareness of their unjust interruption to these natives. However, the defeated kheronae were utterly repelled and scared, and the retreated to the mountains, along with other tribal races. Many were convinced that this green-skinned, tall yet elegant race was a curse by the Gods.

Gosto felt the guilt; thus he wanted to negotiate and communicate with those who he scared off to the hills overlooking the bay. He sent ambassadors, he sent food and resources – and the peaceful kheronae accepted, with the exception of several proud tribes. Fyllae quickly gathered a place among these tribes, and welcomed the kheronae back to the bay. Kheronae let the fylla build a city at the bay shores; likewise, they built a city they called Syera to the southeastern coast of Lonnach Bay, and constructed a tall and huge tower in the middle of the city. This was the first-ever remarkable monument that the fyllae ever erected in Io’wathen.

Gosto He’uch, at the sixth year of their new homeland, was interrupted in his sleep. He saw a vision – or maybe it was barely a dream. Lyca’nae Verd appeared to the chief-general of this new race.

“Heed my call, the leader of this unknown race! Why have you come, why are you here, what had caused you to refuse Cedes’ will and the destiny he had determined for you?” said Lyca’nae Verd, with fury in his eyes.

Gosto kept his calmness, and replied Lyca’nae Verd: “What Cedes the One determined for us was to live for a worthy cause, Great Firelord, it was not staying at our homeland when others of our kin swore to kill us all. We, as the fyllae, believe in the eternity of his will, yet including you Great Synthe; no one shall and would overcome his will. There is no possible way for it, since he had not created one.

We have been forced to this exile by our obsessed kin and we sailed far west. We have found ourselves here at the rich coasts of Io’wathen. Thus, I, Gosto He’uch of Glistar, beg you with all the other Synthe witnessing my words, to accept us among the races of this realm.”

Zethor arrived in the vision. When Lyca’nae Verd’s face lost its tension as he heard the words of Gosto He’uch, Zethor seemed furious.

“Unacceptable! You fyllae do not belong to these lands! Your green skin separates you from all other surface and under land races, you shall never be accepted among the races of Io’wathen!” yelled Zethor.

Lyca’nae Verd silenced Zethor, glaring at the arrogance of his younger brother.

“My words were to test you, chief-general Gosto. You were tested, for I was informed of your arrival. For such a long time, by myself and my agents, you have been followed and watched over, and I had doubts about your loyalty to Cedes. Your race has a bad reputation, but you fyllae are the bright side of your shameful kin. The pureness of your words and your heart washed away my doubts. If you ever lied, I assure you, I’d know.

Gosto He’uch of Glistar, you have earned my love and respect. Your cry will not be in vain, as long as you and your kin manage to live accordingly with other races, you are accepted within Io’wathen. I demand you to hold your fyllae together and keep them united.

And you,” carried on the Firelord, “for the sake of preservation of your nation and race, and for them to be represented within the Synthe Council, I grant you the powers of a Spirit, a Demi-god – and bless you.”

Gosto He’uch passed the chief-general rank to one of his officers, Erras Scharnach, and left for the Outer Dimension.

For many decades, fyllae lived in Altor and surrounding areas, but many desired to live within the woods. Some travelled to north and midlands, the ones traveled north found the biggest fyllian city, N’ya, to the southeast of Solian capital, now-called Rolinbragh. Fylla race made good and strong relations with the Eila race over centuries and proved themselves as valuable allies to the humankind. - Good (Member of the Council.)

-Lonos Kheronalloc Kheronaer - The God of Might and Wisdom Also known as the Giant King, Lonos is a symbol of might and wisdom to the people of Io’wathen. Lyca’naian Chronicles illustrate him as the largest Spirit in material form, with a horned helm, red glowing eyes and a long, straight hair. He carries his large mace, called Shyr. He is the Warden of the Outer Dimension and the guardian of Synthe Council.

A proud Synthe with an iron will, Lonos was strictly trained by his father, Lyca’nae Verd, during his apprenticeship. He is so different from his sister, Marvyll, Lonos likes to show off – he prefers to be in the center of attention – even among the Synthe. Thus, Lonos is a Synthe with most temples built in his name by his creations – the kheronae and the enaer.

When he was created by Cedes and afterwards given birth by his mother, the Motherland, his father trained him in the ways of might, wisdom and constitution. Lyca’nae Verd assigned him to create a race, a race with a strong sense of justice and courage, as well as wisdom. So he did – he created the kheronae. However, since it is still unknown to the races of Io’wathen including kheronae themselves, no one precisely knows where the first kheronae were sent. Some say Wultan, and some say to the southernmost cape of Echiott, Kheros Thûn, as it is called now. In any case, both of those realms are inhabited by the kheronae with different characteristics.

Even though he completed the creation, he also desired to create another race. Enaer, he named it, and created as the descendants of the kheronae – they were just as the kheronae, wise as the kheronae, but they were and are known to be naive and extremely peaceful - however they know a lot about warfare, they have never shown any aggression towards any other race without an open threat. He created this race as masters of Mountains, designed them as mine diggers and gave them an endless curiosity and a sophisticated knowledge about agriculture and architecture.

Enaer were sent to Dul Margorath, and first tribes lived there in peace, yet neither kheronae nor the enaer of Dul Margorath knew what competition is. They were peaceful and did not engage a war for many centuries, however, a need to protect themselves urged in time as the countless descended races surrounding the area started to threaten their presence. Eventually, after many centuries, Eila of Lotu’sa arrived in Dul Margorath. Enaer, strong as naive, terribly smashed the scattered forces of Eila, and preserved their presence in Dul Margorath. However, many enaer were unaware of other races, and with this unexpected and unpleasant visit of the Eila, they wondered what lied beyond the mountains of Dul Margorath. Several tribes traveled north, some traveled south, and other than a few Clans, Dul Margorath lost a serious population as the immigrants left.

Lonos urged the enaer to build temples in his name, and enaer did so; this is another reason why enaer are professionals when it comes to architecture. The Bridge of the Kings, north of Jedh, or Klingondagos built in the name of Lonos and Brelldar are only two significant instances of their talents. Lonos managed to force his creations slowly but properly; yet Lyca’nae Verd was pleasant with the consequences. Kheronae and enaer were just, wise and courageous; just like Lonos was asked. Shortly after, they got accepted as the races of Io’wathen. Kheron codes are still used, even by Eila, as recognized law system.

Lonos is stubborn, proud and sometimes arrogant: his clashes and opposing attitude towards several decisions that the Council had made are known. - Neutral/Good (Member of the Council.)

-Xequ Lullu - The God of all Mysteries Neither Xequ, nor the reason it was created is known. The only source and evidence of its presence is the existence (other than several writings from Rymbekh) of the mysterious race called Lullu to the northern Dyron, Wundh Island; it is as well mentioned in the Lyca’naian Chronicles, thus this is how the Io’wathen races know its name. Lullu are known to sacrifice themselves in the name of Xequ, in certain times during the nìen years. Wundh people are to see these lantern-like lights flying towards the sky and slowly disappearing, and presuming them to be the Lullu people themselves. Their soaked, swamp-like homeland is not accessible, yet the Wundhian Queendom strictly forbids the access to the area due to prevent the interruption of these mysterious but wondrous creatures’ rituals and daily lives.

Xequ is rumored to be the reason everything miraculous, everything wondrous, surprising and also unknown; as the God of all Mysteries, many scholars think that it should’ve been a mystery itself as it is now. Many are encouraged that Xequ shall and should remain a mystery, yet otherwise that would be against the will of Cedes. - Neutral (Presumed)

-Waldainar Ice Lands - The God of Ice Waldainar, according to the Lyca’naian Chronicles, ‘sits atop of the world’. Most likely, as it is also accepted by many of the famous scholars and poets of Io’wathen, Waldainar is considered to be in Olthoborhen when in his material form. When the well-known Fugeili Kingdom of Ioa collapsed, the Caurosian tribe first travelled to Northern Ossax, and then sailed north – until they reached the frozen lands. Many of the Fugeili perished due to harsh weather conditions, but many carried on living nonetheless. They named the land Olthoborhen, or ‘The Frost Homeland’ in common Fugeilae; and did not travel further north when they figured out that it was getting colder as travelled to the north. They named the far north frozen lands as Fjo-owaath Gundbhall ‘The Unknown North’ in their native tongue, Caurosae, and for many centuries none of the races dared to travel these deadly plains of ice. The first arrivers of Caurosian, due to the lack of local resources, found their first cities with limited stocks of wood and ice, and named their very first city as Olthos-namos, located on the southwestern shores of Olthoborhen. With the potent knowledge and talent the Fugeili have in magic, Caurosian people found magical sources to preserve themselves from the cold, yet, they also focused on tailoring and hunting; the place was, even though the harsh conditions, had its own habitats. The animals with thick furs were skinned and the Fugeili wore them to keep warm, and in time, their tailoring skills advanced.

According to the Lyca’naian Chronicles, when Waldainar was crowned as the Ice King by Lyca’nae Verd, Ioa was not even in existence. However, the time when the Caurosian Eila discovered the Ice King, they were building the Island-city Giuio. Waldainar was assigned and created as the Ice God by Cedes, and thus every action contrary to the will of him was being punished hardly. Disasters occurred: avalanches covered the cities; earthquakes ruined the buildings, many and many died. The Caurosian begged Lyca’nae Verd as the disasters were simply eradicating their homeland, and Lyca’nae Verd told the native Fugeili:

“Your Spirit sits atop of the world, brethren of Caurosian. Waldainar the Ice God shall rule your dominion. Do as his will.”

Caurosian built temples in the name of the Ice God, sacrificed animals; and Waldainar eased his wrath. For centuries, Caurosian descended and changed in appearance and slowly lost its Fugeilae traditions, replacing them with their exclusive traditions. Their appearance adopted the environmental features; their skin turned into an ice-blue tone, their eyes, with the lack of Xyor’s light, faded to blue tones, and hair color lost its lively colors, leaving a white, shiny hair. Many scholars claim that this rather swift shift and change in the appearance was a blessing by Waldainar, and the magic they have used all the centuries to protect themselves.

Waldainar is known to be a silent but effective God, he mostly keeps his silent and neutral attitude within the Outer Dimension and Synthe Council. Waldainar is, also, brother to Lyca’nae Verd. – Neutral (Member of the Council.)

-Hyxaia The Goddess of Justice Hyxaia is the preserver of justice among the Io’wathen races. Many claim that it was Hyxaia that blessed the races that Lonos created with this notion of justice, as these races are known to be the pioneers in law systems that are accepted among the races of Io’wathen.

Hyxaian Halls, built by the ancient enaer, are rumored to be within the Banx Wynn forest to the west of Dul Margorath, but many doubt the presence of this place. It is a well known fact that kheronae and enaer were to worship Hyxaia on the other hand; along with Lonos and Brelldar. Hyxaia, according to the Lyca’naian Chronicles, refused to rule one single race or area within the realms of Wythius, and that she wanted to embrace all races with the blessing of justice and equity. She, in her material form, is in heavy but well-crafted golden plate armor, and carrying a sword, called the Bringer of Justice, Saithar. She is known to be merciful. – Good (Member of the Council.)

-Draelia Lotu'sa - The Goddess of the Air Draelia is Lyca’nae Verd’s sister, and Motherland’s assistant to rule the air. It is known as a neutral and passive Synthe, but when Lotu’sa immigrated south and established the Kingdom of Lotu’sa, they abandoned the practice of Fire worship and accepted Air instead. Draelia is known to be merciful and forgiving. She is not as famous as many other Synthe, but she definitely influenced her people as the brethren of Lotu’sa also avoids to be the center of attention. – Neutral (Member of the Council.)

-Ywolo The God of the Dead/Hente Ywolo holds many secrets within. Since the very first death of the very first Cedeili, death was questioned by the mortal races. Ywolo had a special place among the Council, as the Synthe granted him to rule the afterlife.

When Cedes created Ywolo to rule the dead and take away the life from the mortals, the Motherland first opposed such a mission to a Synthe. She saw that as a threat to the balance of life, yet later in time, it proved to be an essential chain of the natural balance. People were born, people died; and thus the balance was preserved perfectly. The Motherland adopted this circulation and Ywolo, as a contrast to the Motherland, assisted the Motherland to renew the life.

During the very first times of the Cedeili and Fugeili governments, Ywolo sent the spirits of the dead to the underground and gave them a second life in another life form. They were no undead, however; they were created as a new kin. Ywolo named them onthox, the people of Underlands. As the surface races considered Ywolo as the life taker, onthox worshipped Ywolo as the life giver. They built cities within the caves of the underground, and adopted the wet and dark surroundings of the depths of Io’wathen.

Lyca’nae Verd was not pleased by this unexpected creation of another race, yet, punished Ywolo and chained him to a throne on an island surrounded by a lake called Hente, later known as “the lake of the Dead”. Until that time, the lake was an ordinary lake, but as the God of the Dead was chained in the middle of it, the spirits of the dead followed Ywolo to Hente, when the onthox carried on living in their deep and dark cities. In time, Hente was filled with the spirits of the dead, and Ywolo granted the lake as the new home for them. As it is stated in many books – Hente barely means insanity and madness to the living. Many are known to disappear when approached to the home of the dead.

Onthox, left to their destiny and unaware of their god’s imprisonment, was without the blessing of the Motherland and Synthe Council, got corrupted slowly by the magic they have been practicing with the guidance of Ywolo. Their necromantic studies slowly turned them into mindless undead. Some were saved however, but a majority of the onthox population was now a threat to the living. The preserved onthox found another city and named it Onthal, and swore to battle against the corrupted onthox. A civil war, thus, broke shortly, leading the onthox race to a catastrophe. Ywolo begged Lyca’nae Verd to save his brethren from this chaos; Lyca’nae refused to be involved directly but gave Ywolo an artifact of immense powers – Shadowdawn – and let the imprisoned Synthe to rule over his people once again. Living onthox was almost extinct, however; Ywolo was terrified with the current condition of his people. Cleansing the undead taint on his people and leading the dead to Hente, he redeemed many of the onthox. Fortunately, onthox had another chance to carry on their lives, however as a forsaken and unwanted race. No matter how strong the Shadowdawn was, on the other hand, his imprisonment was an obstacle for Ywolo to rule over the onthox as effective as he desired.

After Dol’sharoc’s imprisonment, Ywolo was rather upset about Lyca’nae Verd’s merciless notion of punishment, but he knew the Firelord was right to be furious about an attempt of assassination. When he was forgiven and accepted back to the underground Material Dimension, Dol’sharoc was forged with revenge, but he barely showed his vengeful desires. He rather decided to undermine Lyca’nae Verd without being suspected.

When Dol’sharoc encouraged Ywolo to rule and oversee the onthox for Ywolo since he was ‘entrapped by the merciless Firelord’ and that Dol’sharoc ‘wishes to save Glorious Ywolo from his burden’, Ywolo trustingly handed the artifact Shadowdawn to Dol’sharoc. His aim was different, however; he wished to control the onthox and build an army to be used against the Firelord. Dol’sharoc was aware of the potential hostility of the onthox towards the Firelord, and knew he could use it perfectly. Ywolo, with a relief, let Dol’sharoc rule his people and instead, ruled Hente and the spirits of the Dead solely.

This was one of the biggest moves that Dol’sharoc made against the rule of the Firelord. Onthox was the first race that he embraced, and the first (and probably the most important) step of his army.

Ywolo, despite the fact that he was assigned to such a mission that he did not desire, is merciful and forgiving. He is known to support Lyca’nae Verd and the Motherland at the Council before he was entrapped, putting the expectations aside. Even after his punishment, Ywolo never built any hatred towards the Firelord. – Good/Neutral

-Chaelun The God of Elemental Balance, Shaman God Chaelun is the only Synthe given life after Cedes left the Outer Dimension. It is the son of Draelia and Lonos, the Goddess of Air and the God of Might. He is the source of all shamanistic and druidic magic that surrounds the realms of Io’wathen; some even say his reach is so unique that Eru’wathen shamans also practice magic as his worshippers. He has no embrace over a specific tribe or race; however, it is known that he is influential over the nomadic and shamanistic Kheron tribes, as well as the siblion. The Motherland, with his birth, granted him the blessing to preserve the balance of the elements, and he sent prophecies to the mortal races. Many heed his call, even today – and his shaman-priests can be seen commonly in Wultan and Kheros Thûn, as well as Siblion lands.) – Good (Member of the Council.)

-Dol’sharoc The Nightlord, God of Night Dol’sharoc, as stated clearly in the Lyca’naian Chronicles, was created as a symmetrical presence to Lyca’nae Verd during the creation of the Cedeili. As Lyca’nae represented the Fire, the source of all things and the Light, Dol’sharoc was an illustration of the darkness as the God of Night, or Nightlord, as more commonly known among the races of Io’wathen.

Dol’sharoc and Lyca'nae Verd represent chaos and order, the clashes of two opposites, and the battle against two extremes as their everlasting struggle against each other many people. He is not pure evil, but lustful and vengeful in many ways. He is a radical Synthe, who can shift into many unexpected forms and can do the unexpected in unpredictable places and times; and that is why he was always a threat, a trouble for the Synthe Council. There are many misinterpreted inscriptions about Dol'Sharoc claiming that he also represents Destruction - but Lyca'naian Chronicles strictly refuse this claim. Dol'Sharoc merely represents another aspect of existence, in his own understanding.

Lyca’nae Verd trained his twin brother when he was created, and other Synthe was surprised and shocked by the similarities between the two in appearances. They looked almost the same, other than their eyes: when Lyca’nae is told to have red, burning eyes with a red, fiery outfit, Dol’sharoc had shadowy flames in his eyes, and his outfit did resemble the Night, with the blurry and distant lights of the stars covered his robes. Lyca’nae Verd, according to the Chronicles, has been extremely harsh and dominant during his trainings, fearing that his counterpart may rise in power. But however, this was the first step of Dol'Sharoc's burning desire for revenge.

When his potential power was claimed to be tamed under the strictness of Lyca’nae Verd, Dol’sharoc’s anger against everything really seemed to be calmed down. Furthermore, he was officially assigned as the God of Night by the authorization of the Synthe Council, and everything seemed perfectly fine. He seemed obedient, calm and definitely conscious.

However, he managed to fool everyone easier than he expected.

As he proven to be an asset to the Council now, Lyca’nae assigned Dol’sharoc to train his younger brother, Zethor, and Dol’sharoc did as said. He, slow and subtle, infected the young god of Rain and indirectly provoked him against the Firelord, constantly criticizing his methods. Not too long after, Dol’sharoc became a role model for Zethor. He trained Zethor until the end of his required training process. Now, he was ready.

Ultimately, Dol’sharoc attempted to assassinate Lyca’nae Verd during a Council meeting. He failed, but his Nightbolt hit the Motherland instead, permanently wounding her. He somehow succeeded - he seeded the Shadow to the nature by hurting the Mother of all, at least altering the order he believed he never belonged to, just a bit.

Indeed, nothing was to be the same again.

Lyca’nae Verd, at the peak of his fury, imprisoned Dol’sharoc to a transdimensional cell for eternity. However, before he was imprisoned, he left an apprentice of immense hatred against the Firelord, and Zethor already started to provoke others against him; starting off with his sister, Dathias.

Dol’sharoc suffered an insane torture, even for a Synthe. After about a hundred million years, he was forgiven; but Lyca’nae Verd was not wishing to accept him back to the Council. Instead, Dol’sharoc only changed prisons: He was imprisoned below the Io’wathen lands, with his sick, weak material form. Lyca’nae Verd admitted it, but he knew that Dol’sharoc was to rot below the land. By the time, Zethor’s Dythos tribe and Dol’sharoc’s now Rain-worshipping Dol’sharen tribe were exiled to the newly created land called Dytheria. Zethor, ruling over two tribes, encouraged one of them to worship this long-forgotten and exiled Nightlord. These poor Eila, now called Dol'Sharen, were to wait or the so-called perfect return of their Nightlord. He did return, but with chains, and imprisoned underground.

It was not as miserable as Lyca’nae Verd expected it to be. Dol’sharoc started to recover with the aid of his apprentice Zethor. He recovered in time, with an even more potent hatred against his twin. This time, it had to be more subtle, more silent.

Around the year 25,000 Before the Birth of Telius Pythius, shortly after his (conditional) return to Io'wathen, Dol'Sharoc appeared to the Dol'Sharen tribe. Dol'Sharen cherished and praised Dol'Sharoc for the prophecy turned out to be true. Not only Dol'Sharen, but Dol’sharoc realized the unwanted race, the onthox, that Ywolo created, and witnessed the imprisonment of Ywolo to the Lake Hente. Zethor was like a messenger to the Nightlord, so he could be informed about everything. Dol’sharoc was recovering faster and faster, and shortly after, his vision had a visit to the God of the Dead, Ywolo, at his prison throne. Dol’sharoc was still in his weak and flawed material form, yet no matter how much he recovered, his powers were no match to the Synthe.

Marg-sharaia, the Book of the Night, explains the conversation between Dol’sharoc and Ywolo.

“Ywolo, God of the Dead, what misery is this? How, as the Ardsynth, so called wielder of mercy, my twin could do this to you? I see you are entrapped by the merciless Firelord.” said Dol’sharoc.

“I am not to hate the Ardsynth, Dol’sharoc,” stated Ywolo, despite his punishment at hand. “We are to obey.”

“We are, indeed,” said Dol’sharoc, in approval. “But I see your suffering race, the onthox, below the land. You cannot rule over them now. Let me, as an old friend, aid you. I have changed, I have seen my mistakes – and I wish to help. Let me aid the miserable race, let me help them prevail. I am to take the burden from your shoulders.”

Ywolo, who had seen this as a chance for his race to carry on their existence, thought it to be a good and worthy idea. It was his weak point, and Dol’sharoc knew it well.

“Give me Gwelliòn, the Shadowdawn, so I can rule over them as you ruled, for perfection,” said Dol’sharoc. “Let me aid you, suffering Ywolo.”

Ywolo handed Shadowdawn to Dol’sharoc without hesitation.

“May you aid them Dol’sharoc, the fallen Nightlord,” said Ywolo with desperation. “I hope not to be disappointed.”

“May you not be disappointed,” said Dol’sharoc. “Your race shall prevail.”

Dol’sharoc, with the Shadowdawn in his hands, returned to the Underlands, to the capital of the onthox. He claimed his dominion over the onthox, and they desperately accepted this ‘fortunate’ hand of aid. This is how the onthox started to be corrupted once again.

However Dol’sharoc was corrupting the onthox with subtlety, he also managed to seem obedient to the Council. He desired to gain their trust, however, his attitude somehow alerted Lyca’nae Verd nonetheless; he was entirely different from what he used to be. He was definitely flawless, obedient, logical and good-willing. However, he avoided showing that he now has the Shadowdawn, yet, he hid it well to the capital city of the onthox, and the onthox built a temple in his name, preserving and guarding this artifact of incredible powers. Dramatically, the onthox was not aware that this artifact was a chain to them.

With his slowly growing reputation, Dol’sharoc focused on another powerful artifact that would double, may be triple his powers: The Light Eternal, Ùr’gallas, of the Council, the source of all Light in the world. As it was kept by the Warden of the Light Eternal, Brelldar the Warfare God, Dol’sharoc started contacts with him.

Dol’sharoc had several meetings with him, and eventually had Brelldar agree on Dol’sharoc’s higher capability to wield and protect the Light Eternal, yet Dol’sharoc had rhetoric and somehow ironic statements such as follows: ‘Brelldar was the mighty God of all Wars, how can he be expected to guard the most precious Light when he has such a noble mission already?’

Shortly after, Dol’sharoc generated a block against the Firelord with the underground supports of Zethor and Dathias, and with Brelldar’s growing sympathy. Opposing voices were heard within the Council, and Lyca’nae Verd grew curious.

One day, Brelldar stood in front of Lyca’nae Verd, with no Light Eternal in his hands.

“Stolen,” yelled Brelldar. “Light Eternal is stolen. Dol’sharoc took it away from me. I failed to protect it, Ardsynth.”

Lyca’nae Verd did not speak, instead, immediately sent Brelldar to the transdimensional prison of the Synthe, Phnox. Brelldar also suffered for many decades there. Nonetheless, he was not expecting such a treatment from Lyca’nae Verd; and with every pain he felt, he swore for revenge. Slowly but deeply, he was being forged against the Firelord. He cursed his lack of mercy and fierce methods of punishment.

The loss of Light Eternal emerged the Council and many Synthe were panicked: Dol’sharoc now had the Light Eternal. Such a powerful artifact in the hand of such a vile Synthe could be the apocalypse of all things. It was not long after Lyca’nae Verd figured out that Shadowdawn was also at the hands of Dol’sharoc. A treat emerged, and Lyca’nae Verd started seeking for Dol’sharoc in every inch of Material Dimension and Outer Dimension, since he would easily travel back to the Synthe Dimension with Light Eternal in his hands.

He hid well, to the depths of Material World, and isolated the onthox capital from outer interruption as he attracted the spirit of the Hente to the Underlands with the combined powers of Light Eternal and Shadowdawn. Dol’sharoc slowly corrupted the Light Eternal and forged it with the presence of Night. He then called it Shadow Eternal.

Not long after, Dol’sharoc was rumored to have an army of immense powers. Around BBTP 5, Zethor started building a temple in Chaotia region, Dytheria Island, in the name of Dol’sharoc and that will also serve as a gateway that will lead the armies of Dol’sharoc to the surface. He simply announced this temple to be a major Hall of Worship to his people when Lyca’nae Verd asked the aim for such a temple, and Council had no further proof that it was otherwise.

At ABTP 25-26, the major invasion to the surface was launched. With a powerful explosion, Chaotia was shattered, shores flooded and land was twisted. Temple was now lying in ruins, letting the vast and corrupted armies of Dol’sharoc to march against anyone opposing. With the invasion, Dytherian forces also joined the armies of Dol’sharoc and marched to the Mainland Echiott.

This battle is known to be the biggest battle, both in Material and Outer Dimensions.

Lyca’nae Verd tried to overthrow Zethor and Dathias, but since they were also directly empowered by the Light Eternal, his powers were insufficient alone.

The battle between Lyca’nae Verd and Dol’sharoc was a major dispute, and the reflection of this battle on the Material Dimension took place between the outcast Prince and ranger Pythe Teleane with the alliance of Wundh Queen, former La-Ra, Gallanae-mylen Myllande; and the fierce Prince of Dytheria, Lua Shrormae with the aid of Gorno Felari, Umbrysian Sultan.) –Evil

-Kilrug (God of the Seas Kilrug was created as the brother of the Motherland when Cedes created the Cedeili. He is, as well, known as the first Synthe to be imprisoned and punished by Lyca’nae Verd. Lyca’naian Chronicles do not mention him other than a single passage, and that passage barely explains his banishment from the Outer Dimension to trans-dimension. He is known to aid Lyca’nae Verd during the creation of his Fugeili, however, his reasons of banishment and imprisonment is unknown. Since his imprisonment, Motherland herself rules the Seas. Kilrug is a mystery, however, there are several Eila coastal tribes that worship the God of the Seas, and reason his imprisonment with Lyca’nae Verd’s envy.

Ironically enough, Sea, or Water, is known to dominate Fire in Elemental Circle.

Tyllie, or Sublands, serve as the residence of this sub-race of Eila, and they are known as Io-Eila, Sea People, amongst the Solian Empire. The access to this huge, wet swamp is not allowed by Tyllien Io-Eila, and the borders are heavily guarded. They are known to refuse all official and diplomatic relation with the Empire. This swamp is known to be below sea level at certain points. Io-Eila is also known to live below the seas, mainly off shore Io-Sath, and capable of underwater breathing. The exact story of their creation is unknown, but they are not a Fire-blessed race, just like onthox; which is thus considered as an unwanted race by Lyca’nae Verd.

However, with the blessing and redemption of the onthox, Io-Eila are known to be the last unblessed race.) Neutral / Unknown

-Brelldar (God of Warfare, Warden of the Light Eternal Brelldar was created by Cedes during the creation of the Cedeili, as the brother of the Motherland. Brelldar is known to represent competition, fierce battles; but many scholars consider him to be the God of “Winning and Losing” instead.

Not much is known about Brelldar, putting aside his duty as the Warden of the Light Eternal and his imprisonment by Lyca’nae Verd. A proud Synthe he was; so the Synthe Council decided him to protect the precious source of all Lights. However, when Dol’sharoc cheated him and stole it from him, Lyca’nae Verd, in his fury, imprisoned Brelldar to Phnox.

The Lyca’naian Chronicles mention his torture and punishment, and speak of his building vengeance towards the Firelord. It is no doubt expectable, but Brelldar is not yet freed, even after the ultimate banishment of Dol’sharoc after the War of the Lament.) Unknown, presumed Neutral.
